El cuidado en el trabajo docente: una revisión de alcance

Resumo

El articulo presenta una revisión de alcance sobre cuidado en el trabajo docente, a partir de 16 investigaciones empíricas publicadas en el periodo 2017-2021. La revisión identificó los principales enfoques teóricos y metodológicos para estudiar el cuidado, y los principales temas y hallazgos. Se evidencia la diversidad en las formas de pensar y practicar el cuidado en el trabajo docente, y su rol en el bienestar de los/as estudiantes, especialmente de quienes han sido marginados por su raza, sexo y/o contexto socioeconómico. Por otro lado, se evidencia que en el trabajo de cuidado aparecen emociones contradictorias, y se identifican diversas barreras que han lo han dificultado. Se destaca la necesidad de reconocer la labor de cuidado de los/as docentes y de una corresponsabilización del cuidado de niños y adolescentes. Para finalizar, se expone una discusión, cerrando con conclusiones y proyecciones para continuar con el estudio en este campo.
