Medir la igualdad de género. Debates y reflexiones a partir de una propuesta de sistema de indicadores clave
Resumo
En este artículo reflexionamos sobre una investigación dirigida a definir un sistema estratégico de indicadores de igualdad de género para la Comunidad Autónoma de Euskadi que diera cuenta de la evolución de este fenómeno de forma sintética y comprensible. En primer lugar, planteamos la problemática de la medición de la desigualdad de género, recurriendo a la principal literatura sobre esta cuestión. En segundo lugar describimos de forma breve el sistema de indicadores construido: sus propósitos, su encaje en los sistemas de información y evaluación de la igualdad en este territorio en concreto, y las características de su proceso de elaboración. Posteriormente, pasamos a discutir con mayor detalle los dilemas aparecidos y las elecciones teóricas, conceptuales y metodológicas que realizamos, centrándonos en particular en cómo se ha afrontado el reto de capturar con indicadores un concepto de igualdad que sea amplio, político, transformador, adaptado al contexto vasco y acorde con los consensos feministas.Palavras-chave
