Abstract

Andrew Feenberg, a disciple of Herbert Marcuse, has been exploring the philosophy and critical theory of technology, as well as its relationship to science and democracy. He reflects on who should make decisions regarding science and technology, whom they should serve, and what role public policies and institutions play, committing himself unhesitatingly to their democratization.
