Trabajo con Comunidades y Grupos: Dominación y resistencia. Procesos que nos llevan a plantear tareas permanentes y cotidianas
Abstract
This work presents ideas regarding permanent and everyday tasks that it suggests be considered in collective work in the communities and with the groups in which we participate. Human coexistence as a social-cultural practice becomes one of the most complex and important experiences that can be carried out in what in the current world we call organization, accomplishing the function of being an effective medium for resolving all types of needs. Hence, collective relation and configuration processes of actions take place because of the possibility to recreate, create and promote group spaces. Notwithstanding the ideal that collective work can be, such work tends to be permanently challenged by advances and steps backward, arrivals and departures of people, conflicts and agreements that are or are not resolved, as well as by practical action affected by the social, historical, political and economic context in which it develops. The present ideas have arisen from the author?s experience working with groups of women organized to provide community childcare. This material was presented during the Seventh Congress of Liberation Psychology, held in Liberia, Costa Rica in November 2005.Keywords
