Etnografía virtualizada: la observación participante y la entrevista semiestructurada en línea
Resum
A partir de nuestra experiencia etnográfica en chats, en el marco del estudio "Entre Dones a la Xarxa: Un estudi sobre les interaccions socials entre dones en espais de conversa electrònics", intentamos problematizar aquellas aproximaciones metodológicas a los entornos virtuales que adaptan de manera directa el método etnográfico hasta ahora seguido en el ámbito offline: ¿Qué de novedoso hay en los trabajos etnográficos online? ¿Nos sigue siendo útil la observación participante y la entrevista semiestructurada para los nuevos entornos virtuales? ¿Cuáles son sus límites y posibilidades? Durante nuestro trabajo de observación participante en chats hemos querido experimentar con el método etnográfico para intentar responder a cuestiones de este tipo.Paraules clau
