Javier Moises Rentería Hurtado, es candidato a Doctor por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, con máster en Estudios Contemporáneos de América Latina por la universidad Complutense de Madrid y un máster en Protección Internacional de los Derechos Humanos por la Universidad de Alcalá. Sus investigaciones se encaminan en la proyección de las comunidades negras del pacifico colombiano.
