Review of Simmel (1908/2014) El pobre

Abstract

I present a review of a text that turned more than 100 years old, but whose news invites it to be used for the analysis of social scientists and researchers interested in topics such as poverty, social intervention, social policies, among others. In this production, I summarize central arguments of "The Poor" (Simmel, 1908) and highlight some tensions that I build from his contributions.

Docente en la Facultad de Trabajo Social -UNER. Licenciada en Trabajo Social. Participa de grupos de estudios sobre Transferencias Monetarias, dineros, expectativas, mujeres, pobreza, feminismos y violencia de género. Realiza publicaciones sobre los mismos temas.
