The Masses psychology in Latinamerican in Le Bon time’s
Abstract
At the end of XIX century, the immense majority of independence fought and fratricidal wars where produced in America, a man, psychiatrist and political activist with a conservative view read Le Bon, and in opposition to his ideas, he decided to make his own interpretation of the role crowds play in history. That man, Jose María Ramos Mejía, faithful to his positivist convictions takes his country as a giant laboratory and the historical events that occurred to him as data from which he could create a hypothesis about how crowds have been the main character in history. All of this came to settle an amazing work, unfortunately it’s not well known in Latin America and worldwide. This article analyzes the ins and outs of this work.Keywords
