Abstract

In this article we present the results of the analysis of 19 life stories of lesbian and bisexual women from Castellón, Barcelona and Valencia to research the personal and collective strategies they have used to transform situations of exclusion derived from living in a heteronormative society. For the analysis of the stories we have use the model Finding Lives. Throughout it, we show how cultural references, meeting spaces, affective bonds, a critical positioning and the visibility of discourses and practices outside the heteronormative system are key to enjoy a livable life.

Andrea Francisco Amat, Universitat Jaume I

Doctora en Ciencias de la Comunicación por la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, periodista y educadora social. Actualmente es profesora del Área de Teoría e Historia de la Educación en el Departamento de Educación de la Universitat Jaume I. Forma parte del equipo del IUDESP (Instituto Interuniversitario de Desarrollo Social y Paz) y del grupo de investigación Transgrede. Investigando la diversidad para una ciudadanía crítica.

Lidón Moliner Miravet, Universitat Jaume I

Es profesora contratada doctora del Departamento de Educación de la Universitat Jaume I de Castelló. Licenciada en Psicología, en Psicopedagogía y doctora por la Universitat Jaume I. Miembro del grupo de investigación Transgrede. Investigando la diversidad para una ciudadanía crítica. Realizó su tesis doctoral sobre la tutoría entre iguales. Ha realizado y participado en trabajos de investigación sobre la educación en diversidad sexual, el aprendizaje cooperativo, la escuela intercultural inclusiva y los procesos de desarrollo comunitarios.
