Competences of gender equality: Training for equality between women and men in organizations
Abstract
In this article we talk about the deficiencies identified in the implementation of gender Mainstreaming in organizations supporting the constructs of gender culture and climate. It allows us to define the concept of gender equality competence and develop a classification of them. We have relied on theory sociocultural contributions and the Doing Gender perspective to characterize this term. These competencies are capacities that can have the members of an organization that influence the organizational culture. Also, we think these competences are essential to the professional performance of the implementation of gender Mainstreaming.
