Abstract

In this article I think over feminist research in the context of the doctoral thesis about disarmament, demobilization and reintegration of combatants in the Democratic Republic of the Congo I am actually challenging. More specifically, my objective during the following pages is to analyse some ideas of feminist research’s methodology and epistemology that I consider useful, important or suggestive for my own research process. I am further interested in questioning my work that in finding concrete answers. The starting point for this analyse is the following question: How do my heterosexual, well-educated, medium-class, european, adult, white, man characters –that`s it, this paradigmatic profile of domination – influence my own research work?
