A gender look on women in the East

Abstract

These photos are a sample of an exhibition held during the third International Seminar Critical Paths: boundary conditions resulting from gender violence. The idea of the exhibition was to add other possibilities on the questions of gender relations. These photos were taken on a tour of the East and sought to capture vulnerabilities and powers in the gender brands. This chapter presents fourteen photos, selected from the exhibition, which reflect similarities and differences about gendered behaviors that cut across cultures and societies.
