Alienation and suffering at work. A Marxist perspective.
Abstract
This article offers a critical reflection on the role of the social sciences in the construction of social reality, emphasising that they not only describe the world but also help to shape it through discourses, practices and categories. The author analyses how seemingly neutral concepts can act as instruments of power and governance, shaping forms of social control and regulation. Thus, the author argues for the need for a critical perspective that questions these constructions and highlights their political and ideological implications.
