Abstract

"A self-help novel" - that will probably be some postmodern text. Whether it likes it or not. Whether it wants to be, or not. Three themes which merge, mix and meld. On the one hand, the death of the author; on the other a personal interpretation of postmodernist anthropology. And finally - the Self-Help Novel is how to make self-help literature a proper topic of research.
