Abstract

Presentation of the figure and text “Towards a Science of Public Opinion” by Floyd H. Allport, in which he describes a set of fictions and dead ends regarding the use of the concept of public opinion, and then details the common agreements and analytical distinctions with the aim of enabling the concept of public opinion for scientific use.
