Statements production in current biopolitical strategies: the issue of quality of life
Abstract
Quality of life is an expression with a strong presence nowadays, so there's a discursive profusion in which this expression transits through several fields and themes and presents different meanings. The aim of this work is to think this quality of life and this discursive profusion around it through the contributions of Foucault and Deleuze on the concept of statement and statement analysis, in order to render visible some statements of quality of life. Once these statements are rendered visible it's possible to problematize this multiple and ambiguous presence of quality of life in our actuality. Keywords
